The chill in the air, the sleepy sun and the feeling of warmth with a sip of chamomile can only mean one thing….winter is coming.
Yes, we are very British now, all up in and about the weather, so much so that it’s become the beginning of a conversation.
The dreamy weather was magical enough to share a few ideas that may inspire you to wear your own signature style this season.
This weather can be a bit tricky because usually the day starts off chilly, gets pretty warm around noon and then the temp starts dipping down again. Like most fashion experts say, layering is a great idea.
Cocoon sweaters have been in vogue (and in Vogue magazine) and have been spoken about quite a bit this season, and with good intention. Mostly asymmetrical, they are a bit-roundish to give it that cozy factor of a cocoon, but are also drape-like and, loose-ish. They don’t make you look big, in fact, it adds a flattering silhouette for all of us. The good part about is that since they have room, you can easily pair it up with a tee-shirt, a full-sleeved top when needed.
One of the reasons I chose this sweater from Koovs.com was because of the metallic texture. This can double up as something you’d wear when you have friends’ over or even if you have to go out in the evening.

Since I chose a metal-hued sweater, going with a neckpiece which has accents of gold and a bit of pearls seemed like a good idea. You can even go completely floral or classic, depending on the colour and fabric of the sweater you end up picking up.
